Nay Pyi Taw Mayor invites int’l investors, partnership orgs to participate in “Digital Transformation Strategy”

Nay Pyi Taw Mayor U Tin Oo Lwin extended an invitation to international investors and partnership organizations, expected to join the “Digital Transformation Strategy” of Nay Pyi Taw.
On 21 September evening, Mayor U Tin Oo Lwin, Chairman of the Nay Pyi Taw City Development Committee, attended the Mayor’s Roundtable Forum of the International Forum Kazan Digital Week – 2022 online, which was held in Kazan, the Russian Federation. The NPT Mayor gave a speech at the event and extended the invitation.
The International Forum Kazan Digital Week – 2022 was held from 21 to 24 September in Kazan, the Russian Federation, and the Mayor’s Roundtable themed: “Digital Transformation of the City Management” was held separately from 21 September. The Nay Pyi Taw Mayor interpreted the current status of the Nay Pyi Taw city administration and management operated by digital technology and the human resources management activities, the measures for anti-corruption using ICT technology by forming the Corruption Prevention Unit (CPU) in collaboration with the Anti-Corruption Commission, the situations of receiving comments from the public through online regarding the public service activities of municipal affairs, the state of being able to pay water bills to the Nay Pyi Taw Development Committee through the e-Payment system, the status of Nay Pyi Taw being built as a Safe City and the conditions in implementing the GIS Database for Nay Pyi Taw.
The forum was attended by mayors and chiefs from the Russian Federation, the Republic of Türkiye, Moldova, People’s Republic of China and Kyrgyz Republic, it is learnt. — MNA
