NATIONAL NEWS

The Central Bank of Myanmar will sell palm oil with foreign currency equivalent to K3,700 per viss at wholesale prices through the Myanmar Edible Oil Dealers’ Association, in order to avoid a sharp rise in oil prices due to the recent rise in foreign exchange rates.

Retailers and wholesalers who can sell the palm oil to consumers with no more than a two-per-cent profit margin can contact the Myanmar Edible Oil Dealers’ Association starting from 20 September, according to an announcement released by the association. The Myanmar Edible Oil Dealers’ Association is located at No. B / 81 – 82, Bayintnaung commodity warehouse, Gangaw Road, Mayangon Township, Yangon Region.
Interested person can contact the association at phone numbers: 09-444437295 and 09-401527049.—Myo Min Thura/GNLM
