U Aye Maung Kyi, the secretary of Bago region government stated that preparations are being made for celebrating the Thingyan festival 1385 ME on the grand scale with the performances and the water playing pavilions in the Bago region.
It is also stated that the areas for walking Thingyan festivals and the resting places to have the charity meal pavilions for the public to celebrate the Thingyan festival peacefully.
U Aye Maung Kyi reported, “We are managing to be able to celebrate the coming Thingyan festival in Bago region happily and peacefully. The central Thingyan pavilions will be in Bago and Pyay townships and the performances will be presented. We are mainly focus on organizing the traditional walking festivals safely and there will be also the charity meal pavilions for the people who participate in the festival.”
It is also reported the preparations to celebrate the coming Thingyan festival are well underway in Bago region.—ASH/ TRKM
