In commemoration of the 79th Armed Forces Day, a ceremony was held at the Memorial to the Fallen Heroes in Nay Pyi Taw. State Administration Council Chairman Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing attended and laid flower baskets in tribute.
The event saw the participation of State Administration Council Vice-Chairman Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Thiri Pyan Chi Maha Tharay Sithu Soe Win, Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Thiri Pyan Chi Sithu Maung Maung Aye, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Vice-Admiral Zeya Kyaw Htin Zwe Win Myint, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Zeya Kyaw Htin Sithu Tun Aung, retired military officers, high-ranking military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief.
After paying their respects inside the Beikman, they signed the visitors’ book and viewed round the facility. — MNA/TS
