Tatmadaw has been safeguarding the State from the danger of disintegration in successive eras. At present, Tatmadaw is serving the State responsibilities under the Constitution (2008). Some EAOs are committing terror acts because of ethnic and political affairs. Tatmadaw is emphasizing non-disintegration of national unity and non-disintegration of the Union under the law. The People’s Military Service Law and the Reserve Forces Law were enacted due to the current situation of the nation in order to build a durably stable and peaceful Union. He expressed his gratitude to those retired senior military officers for their attendance at the Armed Forces Day ceremonies. It is a fine tradition of Tatmadaw to pay respects to seniors.
