Union Minister for Health receives Russian delegation

Union Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win received a delegation led by Mr Grigoriev Evgeny Dmitrievich, Chairman of the External Relations Committee, member of the Government of St Petersburg from the Russian Federation, in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
Both sides discussed mutual technology exchange of modern cancer treatments and human resource development, cooperation and exchange of experiences between medical professionals from the cancer treatment centres of Myanmar and St Petersburg, arrangements for cancer treatment specialists of the two countries to carry out joint medical treatments, providing medical treatment to cancer patients in Myanmar using cancer treatment drugs from Russia, holding medical conferences and inviting medical professionals of both countries to exchange knowledge and enhance cooperation in the medical education sector. — MNA/MKKS
