According to the Yangon City Development Committee-YCDC, the upgrading and expansion of Pyay Road and Parami Road in Hlaing Township from four lanes to six lanes have been completed.
After the construction, fox tall trees were systematically planted in rows so that they can be seen from the entrance sidewalk and bicycle lane to the University of Yangon (Hlaing Campus), together with the beautiful scenery of Inya Lake.
As the intersection of Pyay-Parami Road is important for travelling around the Yangon, the YCDC and relevant departments implemented the project on time under the guidance of the Yangon Region government.
Road expansion and the construction of sidewalks and bike paths can make people safe around the intersection, in addition to reducing traffic jams on Parami Road. — TWA/CT
