2023 maritime and aviation youth basic, advanced courses continue in townships

With the aim to develop the knowledge of new generation students during the summer holidays, spend their holidays efficiently, follow their hobbies and emerge new generation who are mastered in maritime and aviation skills and knowledge, Myanmar Navy has been running the basic maritime youth course and advanced courses, while Myanmar Air Force, basic aviation youth courses (senior) and basic aviation youth courses (junior) simultaneously at respective townships since 24 April.
Myanmar Navy runs basic maritime youth courses and advanced courses at 11 maritime youth camps in respective townships with 712 trainees in total. It trained 97 trainees at the youth camp in Yangon, 71 trainees at the Coco Island training camp and 60 trainees at the Heinze training camp in Taninthayi Region and so on.
Similarly, Myanmar Air Force operates senior and junior-level basic aviation youth courses at 17 training camps in respective townships with 680 trainees in total.
It trained 40 trainees each at the Mawlamyine camp in Mon State, Mingaladon camp in Yangon Region, Magway camp in Magway Region, Meiktila camp in Mandalay Region, Kengtung camp in Shan State (east) and Taunggyi camp in Shan State (south).
The relevant regions’ chief ministers, commanders and officials inspected the training sites and comforted the youths. They also provided the needed assistance to the trainees. — MNA/KTZH
