A total of 240 Union-level and Nay Pyi Taw-level civil service personnel received the second dose of COVID-19 vaccines yesterday in Nay Pyi Taw.
The Department of Public Health in Nay Pyi Taw made sure the vaccination went well, taking necessary medical check-ups to the people before the vaccine was administered and monitoring the vaccinated people for 30 minutes to provide medical care in case of side effects.
The Sinopharm Vaccine is a single-dose injection, unlike the previous Covidshield COVID-19 Vaccine, and it is reported that the vaccine has not been shown to cause significant health problems thus far.
People are urged to continue to take precautionary measures by social distancing, wearing a mask and washing hands after receiving the vaccines and the vaccination will continue according to the priority of the Ministry of Health and Sports, depending on the number of vaccines that arrives. – Hein Min Soe/GNLM
