300,000 fingerlings added into Ayeyawady River in Minbu Township

The Pwintbyu Township Fisheries Department added 300,000 newborn fish into the Ayeyawady River in Minbu Township of Minbu District under the supervision of the Magway Region Fisheries Department yesterday.
The Fisheries Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation freed 300,000 Labeo rohita with two inches in size into the Ayeyawady River in Minbu Township for the sustainable development of the fish resources.
District/Township Administration Chairmen, Magway Region Fisheries Department Head Daw May Thanda Wint, District Fisheries Department in charge U Thein Ko Ko Tun, Pwintbyu Township Fisheries Department in charge U Soe Hlaing and other officials joined the ceremony to free the fish species. — Maung Maung (Minbu)/GNLM
