30th Myanmar Tatmadaw Medical Conference commences

The opening ceremony of the 30th Myanmar Tatmadaw Medical Conference was held at the hall of the No 1 Military Hospital (700-bed) in PyinOoLwin yesterday morning.
The academic session of the 30th Myanmar Tatmadaw Medical Conference was inaugurated with an opening speech delivered by the Director of Tatmadaw Medical Corps.
As part of the first-day programme of the Medical Conference, Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Healthcare 4.0, medical topics and five Special Talks were discussed during the Symposium of the Conference.
A total of 24 research papers on medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, public health and anesthesiology, including four research papers from the Ministry of Health and one research paper from the Royal Thai Army General Hospital, were read out.
A total of 314 specialists, medical officers, experts and nurses attended the conference in person and 112 from other military hospitals in the country and the Indian Army Medical Corps online. The conference will continue until 5 October.
The Director of the Tatmadaw Medical Corps met the teams led by Lt-Gen Kong Saly, Director of the Cambodian Military Medical Corps, Brig-Gen Piyalarp Watsuwat, Deputy Superintendent of the Royal Thai Military Hospital, Brig-Gen Le Van Dong, Deputy Director of the Medical Staff of the Viet Nam Medical Corps, and Colonel Phouvilay Phounsavath, Deputy Director of Medical Staff of the Laos Medical Corps, and specialists from India and the Republic of Korea in the reception hall of No 1 Army Hospital (700-bed) yesterday afternoon and discussed cooperation in medical science. — MNA/KZW
