57 Myanmar nationals repatriated from India

A total of 57 Myanmar nationals, who had been sentenced to jail for 2-10 imprisonments years in India for various reasons, were repatriated from Port Blair island, India, to Myanmar on 19 October.
The travel expenses for those were donated by Sitagu Sayadaw Abhidhaja Maha Rattha Guru Dr Bhaddanta Nyanissara along with the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement.
Sitagu Sayadaw conducted not only a total of 19 times to release Myanmar prisoners who were jailed for various reasons in Sri Lanka, India and Malaysia but also over 2,000 prisoners back to Myanmar in cooperation with respective authorities. — TWA/MKKS
