77th Anniversary of Union Day 2024 observed

State Administration Council Vice-Chairman Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Thiri Pyanchi Maha Thray Sithu Soe Win read the message sent by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing at the State flag-hoisting and saluting ceremony to honour the 77th Anniversary of Union Day 2024 at the square of the Nay Pyi Taw city hall yesterday morning.
The 77th Anniversary of Union Day 2024 was held in accord with five national objectives: to protect the perpetuity of the Union by the entire ethnic people through the Union spirit, to join hands in harmony with the government, Tatmadaw, and the entire people to ensure the state stability and the rule of law, to promote all-inclusive livestock breeding-based manufacturing industries and MSMEs, ensuring the socioeconomic development of the whole ethnic people, to make collaborative efforts of all ethnic nationals to ensure the prosperity of the nation and food security which are the two national visions, and to strive for the emergence a modern and developing country, as well as a Union based on democratic and federal systems, by all ethnic nationals.
At 5:30 am, the flag-hoisting troop hoisted the flag of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar together with ethnic people. The Vice-Senior General took the position on the dais and salute of the Guard of Honour. The Vice-Senior General and attendees saluted the State flag while the Guard of Honour played the national anthem. He read the message sent by the Senior General to the 77th Anniversary of Union Day.
Also present at the ceremony were Union-level dignitaries, Union ministers, the Union Auditor-General, the Chairman of Union Civil Service Board, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman, the Anti-Corruption Commission Chairman, the Myanmar National Human Rights Commission Chairman, senior military officers, judges of the Supreme Court of the Union, deputy ministers, UCSB members, MNHRC members, Nay Pyi Taw Council members, departmental heads, staff, ethnic traditional cultural troupes and guests. — MNA/TTA
