84th intake of pilot course of Tatmadaw (Air) concludes

Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung presents the silver sword prize to the best pilot awardee.

On behalf of the Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung delivered an address at the graduation ceremony of the 84th intake of pilot course of the Tatmadaw (Air) in Meiktila yesterday morning.
Trainee companies marched past the Commander-in-Chief (Air) while trainer pilots saluted him by training aircraft and helicopters in squads.
The Commander-in-Chief (Air) presented the wings to graduated pilots.
He then presented the best pilot award to Lt Htet Naing Win, the Excellent in Training Award to Lt Htet Myat Kyaw and the Excellent in Studies Award to Lt Daw Ingyin Khet respectively.
In his speech, the General said the pilots who will be assigned to respective squads must be reliable pilots in the flying sector. Hence, they have to strictly follow the ground disciplines and flight disciplines so as to be safe flying and ready for operations.
The General posed for documentary photos with graduated officers after greeting the trainer pilots which flew over the parade ground. The General then met outstanding award-winning graduated officers and their parents at the hall of Aviation Operation Training School of the Flying Training Base and spoke words of honour.
Today’s graduated officers need to continue advanced training courses related to planes and helicopters. —MNA
