Five men arrested with ammunition used in explosive devices, Thaton

Five men were arrested together with 19 boxes containing 144 iron pellets in each used to make explosive devices, batteries and wires, and related items in Thaton Township, Mon State, on 5 April.
Three of them were found wearing guerrilla pants and shirts with the BGF badge on them, pretending to be members of the Border Guard Forces.
They will be prosecuted under Section 170 of the Penal Code. The detainees were systematically handed over to the Thaton Myoma police station along with seized ammunition, and further investigations are underway.
They were arrested while the security forces were inspecting ammunition and drug trafficking near Kyarpan village, Thaton Township, Mon State. — MNA
