Union Minister for IFER meets with Chairman and members of Rakhine State Investment Committee

Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations U Aung Naing Oo met with the Chairman and members of Rakhine State Administration Council and Rakhine State Investment Committee members at the office of Rakhine State Administration Council’s meeting hall in Sittway in the afternoon of 25 June 2021.
At the meeting, the Union Minister discussed the matters related to the investment promotions and facilitation of the State and, urged the committee members to undertake the State’s investment promotion measures in accord with the Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) issued by Myanmar Investment Commission (MIC). He also highlighted the committee members to monitor and support the necessary assiatance to the existing investment which were permitted by MIC and endrosed by State Investment Committee in line with the Investment Policy and the important provision of Myanmar Investment Law, Rules and Regulations.
After that, the Chairman of the State Administration Council and the State Investment Committee Dr Aung Kyaw Min discussed the investment promotion activities which have been undertaken by the Committee and explained future investment activities and promotion plan. Then, the State Committee members asked the matters on the investment promotion and the Union Minister responded to those questions raised by the committee members. —MNA
