Union Minister U Min Naung and EEC Minister in Charge for Integration and Macroeconomics Mr Sergey Glazyev exchange gifts at yesterday’s event.

Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Min Naung received the delegation headed by Mr Sergey Glazyev, Member of the Board – Minister in Charge for Integration and Macroeconomics, Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
Both sides discussed matters related to the implementation of the direct export of fertilizers produced in Russia to Myanmar, Myanmar’s procedures for importing fertilizers, Myanmar’s rice, coffee, fruits and agricultural produce, aquatic products that the market needs of the European Asian Economic Union (EAEU) member countries, coordination between Myanmar and Russia, opportunities to invest in Myanmar, including coffee and oil crops, the export of coffee, which is a Myanmar GAP product, to (EAEU) countries, the use of good varieties of oil crops and cotton crops, natural fertilizer production and technical cooperation, conditions that will be shared and exchanged for pure potato production technology and collaboration related to technical with Yezin Agricultural University (YAU). — MNA/TS
