Aung La N Sang recalls his memory amid special training

Myanmar’s sports icon, former ONE Championship two-division World Champion Aung La N Sang has recalled his unforgettable memory during his training and leisure time on his social media.
Aung La said that he tried his best to get through his ups and downs. “In 2005, after school at Andrew’s University where I was learning to be a farmer. I would drive down to South Bend, Indiana to train MMA. On the day when I got there for training, my coach asked me if I would be interested in driving up to Battle Creek, Michigan to take a fight.
The crazy 20-year-old me drove up immediately for this fight. This fight never made it on my MMA record but I made $100, $40 for gas and a good story to tell my grandkids”, Aung La said.
“Anyways, the moral of the story is that if you stick with something for 16 years and work hard, you are bound to get better”, Aung La added.
Aung La also expressed his gratitude to his coaches and teammates to support him.
“We can’t always win but can always prepare ourselves the best we can. This camp was full of hardship and trial but I thank God for giving me the strength to go on. Thank you to my team at Sanford MMA and a big thank you to Henri Hooft for flying all the way to Singapore three times with me. Thank you to my family and friends for always being there for me.
