Myanmar showcases local products at ASEAN Bazaar in Cambodia

Myanmar traditional and local products exhibited at the ASEAN Bazaar.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reported that Myanmar participated in the ASEAN Bazaar held in Phnom Penh on 27 April. Myanmar showcased and sold traditional local products and foods at the event.
Myanmar Ambassador to Cambodia U Kyaw Soe Min, along with the military attaché and Myanmar students, attended the event.
During the occasion, the families of the Myanmar embassy introduced coconut noodles, tea leaf salad, and traditional Myanmar tea. Additionally, Myanmar students in Cambodia performed a dance and sang two songs in English and Cambodian.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Mr Sok Chenda Sophea was present as a special guest, with over 1,000 participants from the diplomatic community in Cambodia attending the event.
The festival also featured exhibitions by the Cambodia Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Tourism, along with displays of traditional foods and local products from ASEAN nations, accompanied by cultural performances. — ASH/ TMT
