Over 45-year-old people in Hsenwi receive 1st dose of COVID vaccine

Healthcare officials gave the first dose (third batch) of COVID-19 vaccines to over 45-year-old at Sasana Beikman in Hsenwi Township, Lashio District, northern Shan State on 14 October (yesterday).
Healthcare workers, members of the fire brigade, and volunteers assisted in the vaccination programme and transportation for the vaccinated people were arranged after the vaccination.
During the vaccination, healthcare workers and officials made records for the vaccinated people.
Next health officials measured the body temperature, blood pressure and monitoring oxygen level before the vaccination.
Vaccines were given systematically to the local people, and only those with normal health conditions are vaccinated.
In Hsenwi Township, the COVID-19 vaccine is being vaccinated in designated areas, and those remaining for various reasons will be vaccinated next in urban areas for the first time in the third batch.
