Kayin State Chief Minister makes inspection tours in Hpa-an

Kayin State Chief Minister U Saw Myint Oo inspected the collective cleaning activities in Hpa-an Township yesterday.
A total of 1,500 people, including members of the Police Force and fire fighters as well as departmental staff and locals, participated in this activity at No 2 BEHS, No 7 BEPS, No 10 BEPPS, No 2 BEHS (branch) and Tayokthla Sanpya BEHS. There, the chief minister gave the necessary instructions.
He then proceeded to Lunnya Blue Lake, where the destination development committee reported on the upgrading works. He also paid homage to the Lunnya Monastery Presiding Sayadaw and donated the offerings.
He attended the ceremony to assist the temporarily displaced people organized by the National Disaster Management Committee at the religious hall of Lunnya Monastery.
He provided a total of 1,484 people from 348 households with 1,043 bags of rice who are temporarily sheltering in Eindu, Khaya Atwin, Kawkada, Lunnya, Kawsein Bannauk, Zathapyin and Naunglone village-tracts.
The State Security and Border Affairs Minister also handed over 2,575 bags of rice provided by the National Disaster Management Committee for 3,663 people of 933 households in Thamanya Village.
The chief minister inspected the construction of a steel structure school building in Khaneindo village and 211 acres of summer paddy plantation in Kawma village of Nauklon village-tract of Hpa-an township and made proper instructions. — Saw Myo Min Thein (IPRD)/KTZH
