False news: 3 citizens from Pyasakan village die from heavy weapons by security forces

The screenshot validates false claims.

Malicious media outlets are propagating false news to create misunderstanding about the security forces, alleging that they attacked Pyasakan village in Thandaunggyi Township of Kayin State with heavy weapons on 2 May, resulting in almost three deaths and significant injured. According to a security official from the relevant area, the news is untrue, and there were no heavy weapons attacks by the security forces on that day.
Hence, this is merely a deliberate circulation of misinformation on social media platforms by subversive media aimed at politically damaging and tarnishing Tatmadaw’s reputation while sowing discord among the public. — MNA/TRKM
