Mini Gems Emporium continues 2nd day in Nay Pyi Taw

The second day of the Mini Gems Emporium was held yesterday morning at Mani Yadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw as per the COVID-19 health guidelines and a total of 220 pearl lots were sold.
Local and foreign jewellers observed pearl and jade lots on display in the hall and designated areas outside of the hall from the morning. At the emporium yesterday, from the pearl lot number (1) to (220) were auctioned by an open tender system and the gem jewellers placed their proposed prices in the tender boxes after inspection the pearl lots to be sold. Afterwards, officials announced the sales of the pearl lots.
It is reported that a total of 330 pearl lots and 780 jade lots will be auctioned by an open tender system from 17 to 22 December at the emporium. — MNA
