MoC facilitates daily imports of anti-COVID-19 devices, medical aid

The Ministry of Commerce is overseeing the imports of essential medical supplies plus anti-COVID equipment that are critical to the COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment activities, through trading posts, international airports and seaports.
Anti-COVID-19 equipment was imported by three companies using five vehicles. A total of two liquid oxygen storage containers, two oxygen distributors and 19 tonnes of masks were imported via the Muse 105th Miles Trading Zone and Chinshwehaw border post yesterday.
Officials from the relevant departments are cooperating to facilitate and expedite the standard operating procedures, including online registration for the import process.
It is reported that the Ministry of Commerce is coordinating with relevant departments and treatment of COVID-19 as well as contact persons for inquires can be reached through the Ministry’s Website — www.commerce.gov.mm. — MNA
