Chishar Temple Sayadaw’s donations aid reconstruction after Mocha storm damage

Union Minister U Tin Oo Lwin presents the certificate of honour for the donation of Chishar temple Sayadaw Venerable Qianze from the People’s Republic of China to Deputy Minister U Lwin Oo.

Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Lwin Oo handed over the donation made by Chishar temple Sayadaw Venerable Qianze from Guilin of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of the People’s Republic of China for the reconstruction of religious buildings damaged by the Mocha storm in Myanmar to the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture at the Ministry building in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
The deputy minister first explained the donation of 12,000 yuan by the Sayadaw Ven Qianze for the reconstruction of religious buildings. Next, Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Tin Oo Lwin explained the reconstruction of religious buildings damaged by the Mocha storm and the process of the donation through the ministry and expressed thanks to the Chishar temple Sayadaw Ven Qianze for the donation.
The deputy minister then handed over the donation of 12,000 yuan to the Union minister on behalf of the well-wisher Sayadaw Ven Qianze. — MNA/KZL
