MoEA Union Minister inspects Director Office, ethnic literature, culture associations in Mandalay

Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs U Saw Tun Aung Myint, accompanied by Deputy Minister U Zaw Aye Maung, inspected the Director Office of the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs in Mandalay Region and met with ethnical literature and culture associations on 2 March.
First, the Union minister and party arrived at the Director Office and stressed the necessary things regarding the building of wall, drainage system and maintenance of office building to be carried out in the 2022-2023FY during the meeting with the department staff.
He then received the literature and cultural troupe members of the Mandalay Region. During the meeting, he highlighted the State development and peaceful nation through ethnic unity, the important role of unity in ensuring State stability, Pankhinn project, NCA talks, arrangements to appoint TA/LA teachers for respective subjects, protections of the rights of ethnic people in the Constitution and the authorities of Ethnic Affairs Ministers.
Then, the deputy minister coordinated the discussion and Mandalay Region Ethnic Affairs Minister U Sai Nuam explained the intentions of forming the ethnic literature and cultural associations.
Afterwards, the attendees to the meeting discussed the conservation of literature, culture, angible culture and intangible culture.
The Union minister handed over K400,000 to each literature and culture troupe and concluded the meeting. — MNA
