Retirement age for civil servants set at 62

Conserving the human resources of the State, supporting the development of the country based on the work experience and expertise of senior civil servants and promoting skilled civil servants, Rule 230 of the Civil Service Rules has been amended to include the date of retirement of an employee on the occasion of the 62nd birthday of the employee, with the Civil Service Rules being amended for the fourth time.
Under the guidance of the Chairman of the State Administration Council and with the approval of the Union Government, the Union Civil Service Board has exercised authority conferred under Sub-section (a) of Section 76 of the Civil Service Law and amended the Civil Service Rules, it is reported. — MNA
