Stimulant tablets seized in Kachin State, Mandalay Region

A combined team consisting of the members of Anti Drug Squad stopped and searched a motorcycle driven by Cho Myint at the corner of Shinsawpu street and Aungthapyae Street in Mohnyin Township, Kachin State and seized 9,000 stimulant tablets from him. Similarly on that day, a combined team comprising the members of Anti-Drug Squad searched a motorbike driven by Min Kyu aka Arafat together with Thein Tun Aung (aka) Chit Phu on the Thazi-Meiktila road in Thazi Township, Mandalay Region and confiscated 6,800 tablets of ecstasy. The police have filed the charge against the suspects under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law, it is learnt. — MNA
