Peace talks between the government’s Peace Talks Team and the RCSS (SSA) delegation led by its chair in progress in Nay Pyi Taw on 21 May 2022.

The Peace Talks Team of the government and the delegation led by the chairman of the Restoration Council of Shan State-RCSS (SSA) held discussions in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
SAC Member National Solidarity and Peace Negotiation Committee Chairman Union Minister at the Government Office (1) Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, SAC Member Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun, NSPNC Secretary Lt-Gen Min Naung, RCSS Chairman General Yawd Serk, Secretary (1) Sao Sai Ngin and Central Executive Committee Member Sao Saung Han.
During the meeting, Peace Talks Team Leader Lt-Gen Yar Pyae and RCSS Chairman General Yawd Serk delivered greeting speeches and the participants discussed peace and development related matters. They adjourned the first-day meeting. The discussion will be continued on 22 May.—MNA
