MoD Union Minister leaves for Cambodia to attend 16th ASEAN Defence Ministers’ meeting

MoD Union Minister General Mya Tun Oo is seen off at Yangon International Airport before departing for Cambodia.

Member of the State Administration Council Union Minister for Defence General Mya Tun Oo left for Phnom Penh, Cambodia, the current ASEAN Chair, yesterday to attend the 16th ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting and related meetings to be held on 22 June.
The Union minister was accompanied by Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Affairs U Zaw Zaw Soe and officials. Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and senior military officers saw the delegation off at the Yangon International Airport. — MNA
