The Chinese delegation led by the State Councilor and Foreign Minister of the Peoples’ Republic of China Mr Wang Yi arrived at NyaungU Airport in Bagan in the afternoon of 2 July 2022 to attend the 7th Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Foreign Ministers’ Meeting. They were welcomed at the NyaungU Airport by Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Kyaw Myo Htut, Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation of the Mandalay Region U Myo Aung, Director-General U Wunna Han of the Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and officials concerned.
Union Minister U Wunna Maung Lwin of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and State Councilor and Foreign Minister of the Peoples’ Republic of China Mr Wang Yi will co-chair the 7th Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Foreign Ministers’ Meeting.—MNA
