Myanmar Fire Brigade Day: MoHA Union Minister encourages blood donors, public services

State Administration Council Member Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Yar Pyae yesterday encouraged members of regular and auxiliary fire brigades who donated blood and sanitize hospital grounds as a gesture of hailing the 78th Myanmar Fire Brigade Day, which will take place on 5 May 2024, at the Nay Pyi Taw General Hospital (1,000-bed).
The Union minister and party viewed round 63 firefighters donating blood and 300 troops clearing the undergrowth and cleaning drains and garbage in the hospital compound. He provided nutritious food to collective blood donors and clean-up volunteers.
The ceremony was attended by Union Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win, deputy ministers, permanent secretaries, directors-general, Fire Services Department Director-General U Myat Thu, senior officers, and members of the regular and auxiliary fire brigades. — MNA/TS
