Union Industry Minister inspects factories in Mandalay Region

Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than inspects machinery at No 8 Textile Factory (Pyawbwe) in Pyawbwe of Mandalay Region on 24 July.

It is necessary to supervise control of quality for all production process and make efforts for successfully manufacturing import-substitute products, said Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than yesterday.
At No 8 Textile Factory Branch (Yamethin) in Yamethin of Mandalay Region, the Union Minister met with general managers and factory manager, urging employees to enhance capacity in their professions.
Officials reported on running of the factory and financial matters.
At No 8 Textile Factory (Pyawbwe), the Union minister instructed officials to coordinate industrial and economic measures of the factories through comprehensive studies, manage cutting cost for each unit product and produce quality goods, draw business plans for operating all factories, try hard to successfully manufacture import-substitute goods to cut spending of foreign exchange of the State.
He also inspected production process of threads and the laboratory of threads.—MNA
