LOCAL NEWS

Myanmar U-18 women’s football team will play the second group match of the ASEAN AFF U-18 Women’s Championship against the Philippines team in Indonesia today.
In the previous Group (B) matches played on 24 July, the Myanmar team beat the Malaysian 2-0 while the Australian team made a victory over the Philippine team by four goals.
Therefore, if Myanmar and Australia win again in this match, they will have the right to advance to the semi-finals before the last group match.
The Myanmar U-18 team struggled a bit in the first group match against Malaysia but managed to win.
The Philippine team is expected to try hard in this match as they lost in the opening game and with two international players also participating, the Myanmar team is likely to struggle in this match to win.
Team Myanmar matches will start at 3 pm Myanmar Standard Time and Australia vs Malaysia match will begin at 7 pm Myanmar Standard Time. — Ko Nyi Lay/GNLM
