MoTC Union Minister inspects Pinpet-Naungkar Railway Project

MoTC Union Minister Admiral Tin Aung San views round the Kalaw Railway Station yesterday.

Union Minister for Transport and Communications Admiral Tin Aung San inspected the construction of the Pinpet-Naungkar railway project yesterday.
During the inspection, the Union minister highlighted the need to maintain the tradition of the Kalaw Railway Station that can attract tourists and keep the station building and the yard clean and tidy. Afterwards, he called for cooperation with relevant departments to renovate the station and promote tourism.
In addition, the Union minister also inspected the condition of coupling rods connected with the antique steam locomotive and the designated area to build a railway that can link to the steel manufacturing plant in Pinpet and the place to build a Pinpet railway station.
Union Minister Admiral Tin Aung San met officials and staff from the Taunggyi Railway Station and gave necessary instructions. — MNA
