SAC Vice-Chairman Deputy PM Vice-Senior General Soe Win enjoys performances of artistes in premiere of the play titled the Prestige Nobler than the life

Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win views the play “The Prestige Nobler than the Life” in Nay Pyi Taw on 25 September 2022.

As part of efforts to preserve Myanmar traditional cultural heritages, service personnel of the Department of Fine Arts under the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture together with artistes presented a premiere of the play titled “The Prestige Nobler than the life” in line with the instructions of maestros at the theatre of Zeyathiri Beikman in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday evening for the second day, enjoyed by Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win.
Also present at the theatre were Union level officials and wives, Union ministers and wives, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, officers, and other ranks and families from offices and departments of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and wives.
A total of 27 plays starting from the paying homage to the Lord Buddha, traditional dances of damsels and dual dances were presented with performances of artistes iucluding plots of King Bayintnaung, birth of Dhatukalya, establishment of the State, conference of Minye Nandameik, recounting of Nat Shin Naung, meeting of Nat Shin Naung and Yaza Dhatukalya, martial arts practice of Nat Shin Naung, wedding of Nat Shin Naung and Yaza Dhatukalya, marching of Minye Nandameik to Thanlyin, arresting Nga Zin Ka and Nat Shin Naung by Minye Nandameik, and conclusion.
After the entertainment, the Vice-Senior General presented the flower basket and cash awards to artistes from the performances, Union level officials, Union ministers and Lieutenant Generals from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) also presented cash awards to them.—MNA
