MoSYA Union Minister receives Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar

Union Sports and Youth Affairs Minister U Min Thein Zan presents a gift to the Chinese ambassador.

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan received the delegation led by Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Chen Hai at his office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
First, the Chinese ambassador said the Chinese government is providing assistance as much as it can to improve the social status and interests of Myanmar and its people and expressed willingness to focus on China-Myanmar cooperation.
Then, the Union minister expressed thanks for conducting joint training programmes in China for Myanmar athletes who will participate in the Southeast Asian games and the 32nd SEA Games to be held in Cambodia and for other kindness of assistance in upgrading work on the National Indoor Stadium 1, Thuwunna to improve Myanmar’s sports.
They also discussed the assistance of the Chinese government in Myanmar’s sports sector. —MNA
