MoE Union Minister meets delegation from universities of Russian Federation

Union Education Minister Dr Nyunt Pe holds talks with the delegation from universities of the Russian Federation yesterday.

Union Minister for Education Dr Nyunt Pe met the delegation of higher education from universities of the Russian Federation at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Education in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.
The meeting was attended by the deputy ministers, the permanent secretary, the directors-general and the senior officials from the universities of the Russian Federation, deputy rectors and responsible personnel of the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund and officials of the Russia-Myanmar Friendship and Cooperation Association.
In the meeting, they friendly discussed the issues on the implementation of the promoting educational cooperation between the two countries during the Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister’s visit to Russia, the signing of an agreement on the quality of education and recognition of bachelor degrees between the two countries, cooperation on research and exchange of Myanmar language teachers and Russian language teachers, selection priorities of Myanmar university teachers who apply for the Russian Scholarship 2023 programme and enhancement of qualification of the teachers and students from the Naypyitaw State Academy. — MNA
