Myanmar delegation meets Russian Central Election Commission Chairman in Moscow

The UEC Chair U Ko Ko-led delegation hold talks with Ms Ella Pamfilova, Chair of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation on 13 March 2024 in Moscow.

At the invitation of the Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation, a Myanmar delegation led by Union Election Commission Chair U Ko Ko, who is in Moscow to study the presidential election of the Russian Federation, visited the press release centre of the Central Election Commission on 13 March and attended a briefing.
In the afternoon, the Myanmar delegation met Russia’s Central Election Commission Chair Ms Ella Pamfilova and had a friendly and cordial exchange of views on election issues and activities that need to continue cooperation according to the agreement signed amicably between the election commissions of the two countries. Ambassador to the Russian Federation U Thit Lin Ohn also attended the meeting along with the Myanmar delegation. — MNA/TS
