Anticipate a blossoming brighter future in Rakhine State

Rakhine State and its ethnic national people can be dubbed as the western wall of the nation in preventing inappropriate infiltrations into the mainland and other parts of the nation.
As a strategic area, Rakhine State bridges the mainland of the nation and neighbouring countries India and Bangladesh. It is an outlet of border trade to earn income for the people and the nation as well as a location of abundant natural resources on the mountain ranges to extract valuable ones for the nation.
Moreover, historical records were found that the Lawkathara poem which has been famous in Myanmar literature was composed by Rakhine Thu Myat in the Laymyo era, so Rakhine State can be identified as an area with invaluable abundant ancient heritages in the literature, culture and customs.
In the past, Rakhine State had difficulty in the transport sector due to natural geographical conditions and it lagged behind development in comparison with other regions. As armed conflicts happened in Rakhine State due to political and ethnic affairs, the government is solving the problems to overcome hindrances.
In its tenure, the Tatmadaw government prioritized the transport sector of Rakhine State not to lag behind development. As local people in Rakhine State have easy access to all regions of ethnic national people at any time, such a move contributes much to raising amicability among the ethnic nationals.
The government has allotted K10 billion from the State economic promotion fund to implement the projects of agriculture, livestock, manufacturing and fishery sectors to develop Rakhine State. The allocated fund must be spent in Rakhine State as a continuous money circulation so as to improve relevant sectors and increase the incomes of local people.
The government formed the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee to continuously hold informal meetings, separate meetings and formal meetings with relevant dialogue partner organizations. The Peace Talks Team of the State held peace talks with the Arakan Liberation Party (ALP) for the first time on 14 and 15 June 2022 and for the second time from 24 to 26 August. Depending on the discussions and negotiations, they could sign and approve the state-level both sides’ attitudes.
Peace will shape all things to have improvement. Hence, peace the entire people aspire to will shape Rakhine State to have development soon. A brighter future for the people and Rakhine State will see the blossoming of perpetual peace soon.
