MR changes schedule for Yangon–Mawlamyine express trains

The schedule of the Yangon-Mawlamyine express trains will be changed starting 20 December, according to Myanma Railways.
The No 81 Up train will leave Yangon at 6:30 am and arrive in Mawlamyine at 4 pm and the No 82 Down train will leave Mawlamyine at 8:30 am and arrive in Yangon at 6 pm. Trains will stop at Toegyaunggale, Bago, Theinzayet, Kyaikto, Toungson, Hninpale, Thaton and Paung stations.
In addition, the No 89 Up train will leave Yangon at 7:45 am and arrive in Mawlamyine at 5:45 pm. The No 90 Down train will leave Mawlamyine at 9:15 am and reach Yangon at 7:15 pm. The 89 Up and 90 Down trains will stop at Toegyaunggale, Bago, Waw, Theinzayet, Moppalin, Kyaikkatha, Thaton, Mayangon, Toungson, Hninpale, Theinseik, Yinnyein, Zinkyaik, Paung and Mottama stations.
Ticket prices are K7,050 for the upper class and K3,550 for the ordinary class.
The upper-class tickets will be sold three days in advance and ordinary tickets will be sold one day prior. — TWA/MKKS
