New building for Revenue Appellate Tribunal opened in Nay Pyi Taw

In hailing Diamond Jubilee Independent Day, a new building of the Revenue Appellate Tribunal was inaugurated in Ottarathiri township, Nay Pyi Taw at 9 am yesterday.
Present on the occasion were SAC member Union Minister at the Government Office Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, Union Auditor-General U Tin Oo, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Tin Oo Lwin, judges of the Union Supreme Court, deputy ministers, the chairperson of the Revenue Appellate Tribunal and members, responsible personnel and invitees.
Firstly, Union Minister Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, Deputy Minister Daw Than Than Lin of the Ministry of Planning and Finance, and Revenue Appellate Tribunal Chairperson U Myint Oo cut the ceremonial ribbon to open the new building.
Next, Union Minister Lt-Gen Yar Pyae pressed the button to unveil the signboard; responsible personnel sprayed the fragrant water on the inscription plaque and viewed round the documentary photos.
Then, the Union Minister gave a speech. Revenue Appellate Tribunal Chairperson U Myint Oo explained the development process of the new office building of the tribunal and gave commemorative gifts. Dignitaries and officials took documentary photos before concluding the event. —MNA/TS
