High schools in 50 districts to open agriculture, livestock, technical, and industrial courses

From the next academic year, agriculture, livestock, technical and industrial courses will be opened in high schools from 50 districts across the country, said State Administration Council Chair Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.
The Senior General said so during a meeting with responsible personnel, teachers and students of the Institute of Fisheries (Twantay) in Twantay Township on 5 February.
He also elaborated that there are many places where fish farming can be carried out in the country, which has many rivers and lakes and a long sea coast, so plans are underway to open fisheries institute. Research can also be conducted to raise fish systemically and succeed in fish and shrimp farming. — TWA/KZW
