Meeting between UMFCCI and TCC held in Thailand

The meeting between the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Thai Chamber of Commerce is in progress in Thailand on 10 February 2023.

A meeting over the business, trade promotion and human resource development between the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry-UMFCCI and the Thai Chamber of Commerce-TCC took place at the Board of Trade of Thailand Hall, Bunjerd Chonvijarn Building in Thailand on 10 February.
The meeting was led by UMFCCI president U Aye Win and Mr Sanan Angubolkul, chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade of Thailand. The strengthening of Thailand-Myanmar friendship, investment opportunities and trade promotion, cooperation in promoting the education sector of human resources development, issues related to migrant workers and the smooth flow of the Baht-Kyat payment system in border trade were discussed.
In addition, the UMFCCI and TCC discussed the success of the Global MBA Offshore Programme cooperation and the future work programmes to be implemented.
At the meeting, UMFCCI president U Aye Win said that UMFCCI hoped to be able to work together with TCC and expand its future plans. Then, Mr Sanan Angubolkul responded that they were always ready to expand such cooperation and coordinate with each other.
UMFCCI president U Aye Win, vice-presidents U Thaung Tin and Dr Win Sithu, general secretary Daw Khine Khine Nwe, central executive committee members U Maung Maung Swe, Dr Su Hla Han, TCC chairman Mr Sanan Angubolkul, vice-chairman Mr Phairush Burapachaisri, chairman Mr Prasert Jeungkitrungrote of the Tak Chamber of Commerce, honorary advisor Mr Nattawin Phongsphetratat from the Thai Business Association of Myanmar, Asst-Prof Nattapan Buavaraporn from the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce-UTCC participated in the meeting. — Myo Min Thura/CT
