To hail Myanmar Health Sciences Conference 2023, operations were performed on 75 cataract patients in cooperation between the eye disease department of the University of Medicine 2 and North Okkalapa General Hospital.
With the support of the Department of Medical Services of the Ministry of Health, doctors and professors from the eye disease department at UM 2 operated on 40 patients on 23 February and 35 patients on 27 February at North Okkalapa General Hospital.
They also provided sunglasses, intraocular lenses and eye drops to the patients. The eye tests will be done the next week and one month later. —Nyein Thu (MNA)/KZW
