SPTT continues 2nd-day meeting with UWSP, NDAA and SSPP

The second-day meeting between the State Peace talks Team and delegations from UWSP, NDAA and SSPP in progress in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

The State Peace Talks Team-SPTT continued its second-day meeting with the delegations of the United Wa State Party-UWSP, the National Democratic Alliance Army-NDAA and the Shan State Progress Party-SSPP at the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Centre on 23 March morning.
The meeting was attended by State Administration Council Member Union Minister at the Government Office Chairman of National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee-NSPNC Peace Talks Team Leader Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, SAC Member Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun, NSPNC Secretary Lt-Gen Win Bo Shein, NSPNC members and UWSP Vice-Chairman U Lau Yaku, NDAA Vice-Chairman U San Pae, and SSPP Central Committee member Sao Hsay Pein Pha and representatives of the peace talks.
At the second-day meeting, both sides mutually discussed the issues that were not completed yet in the first-day meeting, regional development and general issues. In addition, both sides approved and signed the bilateral agreements based on the two-day negotiations and exchanged the agreements.
Afterwards, Lt-Gen Yar Pyae and the UWSP vice-chairman gave closing remarks and then exchanged gifts. – MNA/MKKS
