Mr Wang Ning, Member of CPC Central Committee and Secretary of CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee, pays a working visit to Myanmar

The signing ceremony of agreements and MoUs between Myanmar and Yunnan in progress on 2 April.

At the invitation of U Ko Ko Hlaing, Union Minister for International Cooperation of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, a delegation led by Mr Wang Ning, Member of CPC Central Committee and Secretary of CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee of the People’s Republic of China, paid a working visit to Myanmar from 1 to 3 April 2023.
During the visit, while in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday at Horizon Lake View Hotel, the Union Minister for International Cooperation of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and the Member of CPC Central Committee and Secretary of CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee of the People’s Republic of China witnessed the signing and exchanging ceremony of the agreements and memoranda of understanding between Myanmar and Yunnan, namely, the Agreement of Grain Supply Chain Cooperation, the Agreement of Fertilizer Supply Chain Cooperation, Kyaukphyu Future Mobile Clinic Project, Memorandum of Understanding on the import cooperation of agricultural produce in Myanmar and Power Purchase Agreement for Dapein 1 Hydropower Plant. The ceremony was attended by Union Ministers from the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, the Ministry of Electric Power, the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Commerce and officials concerned.
Afterwards, Union Ministers and the Chinese delegation led by Mr Wang Ning attended the dinner hosted by the Union Minister for International Cooperation. — MNA
