USDP checked in compliance with political party registration laws, regulations: UEC

The Union Election Commission, through announcement No 6/2023, has allowed the Union Solidarity and Development Party to be registered as a political party under Section 9 of the Political Parties Registration Law on 20 April 2023.
It is reported that Union Solidarity and Development Party, which has already been registered, was inspected by Union Election Commission Chairman U Thein Soe and members yesterday at the Union Solidarity and Development Party headquarters to see whether it has complied with the political party registration laws and regulations. — MNA/KZL
