Union Commerce Minister receives FCC-South Asia President

The FCC-South Asia President calls on Union Minister U Aung Naing Oo yesterday.

Union Minister for Commerce U Aung Naing Oo received Mr Shirumalla Venkat Narayan, President of the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of South Asia (FCC) based in New Delhi, and the delegation at the ministry in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
They cordially exchanged views on matters in connexion with trade promotion between Myanmar and India, prospects of enhancing economic cooperation and trade between Myanmar and the countries that were in the former British Indian region, investment promotion, economic cooperation between Myanmar and India’s northeastern states, and the acceleration of the people-to-people interaction between Myanmar and India. The Union minister also clarified the questions raised by FCC-SA President Mr Shirumalla Venkat Narayan. —MNA/TS
