Ayeyawady United draws Rakhine United 2-2 in Week 11 of Myanmar National League

Ayeyawady United FC played with Rakhine United FC as week-11 match of the Myanmar National League 2023 season at Thuwunna Stadium yesterday.
Ayeyawady United which currently positioned in the relegation zone of the MNL managed to secure a draw in their match against Rakhine United FC, with both teams scoring two goals each.
Both teams played with their strongest players and aggressively pursued scoring opportunities. Ayeyawady FC took the lead with an opening goal at 13th minute and the goal was scored by Nyi Nyi Aung. After paying the first goal, Rakhine FC attempted to equalize with a spirited attack, and Than Kyaw Htay scored an equalizer at 28th minute for Rakhine FC through a passing from Tra O Rah.
The Ayeyawady FC led the first half with a double goal after scoring of Aung Min Thu of the Ayeyawady at 37th minute of the first half. In the second half, Rakhine FC tried to equalize and Maung Maung Soe of Rakhine FC successfully netted an equalizer from a long range kick at the 53rd minute.
Rakhine FC player Maung Maung Soe won the best player of the match. After this match, the Rakhine Utd accumulated 13 points in 11 games whereas Ayeyawady managed to secure eight points in 11 games. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZW
